Role Details
- OR RN needed to work 8, 10, or 12 hour days
- Main unit has 11 rooms
- About 40 cases per day
- RN must circulate
- No scrubbing necessary
- Unit does not do Open Hearts or Transplants
- Limited on-call hours expected
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Doctorate degree in Nursing
- American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications
- Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification
