Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Overview

• Location: Rice Lake, Wisconsin
• Schedule: Days, 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Hours: 40 per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Primarily outpatient, with float coverage to inpatient/acute care as schedule needs or patient need require
• Average workload: 12–15 patients per shift

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• Wisconsin PT licensure
• At least 1 year of experience outside of school
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced, busy environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience outside of school
• Inpatient experience
• Prior Cerner experience

Role Details

• Expected to perform evals and follow-ups
• Expected to help direct PTA
• Common patient types include orthopedic, neuro, imbalance, and weakness
• Outpatient clinic is the primary area, with some acute care coverage
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• If previously worked for Marshfield, there must be an end date at least 6 months before submission
• Submission must note if the clinician has ever worked for Marshfield

Schedule / Time Off

• No weekends
• No holidays

Orientation

• Orientation starts day one with one-on-one orientation with the manager and computer-based training
• 1–2 days with a preceptor
• Expected to take a patient independently by day 2 and a full case load by day 3

Dress Code

• Scrubs or business casual
• Closed-toed shoes
