Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Diagnostic Imaging)

Location: Bethel, Alaska
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Position Summary

• Perform radiographic examinations on patients of all ages (newborn through geriatric).
• Contribute to efficient department operations and ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• May perform receptionist duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Experience working in an Acute Care setting.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with CT registration.
• Knowledge of CT angiograms.

Work Schedule

• Shifts vary; typically 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next.

Housing & Travel

• Private housing is not provided; shared units only.
• No pets allowed.
• Airfare must be initially paid by the candidate or agency and will be reimbursed upon arrival.
• Flight itinerary must be provided at least one week in advance for scheduling orientation and housing.
• New Employee Orientation is held only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
• Returning travelers are not picked up.

Onboarding Requirements

Candidates must provide and clear all credentials before traveling, including but not limited to:

• Immunizations: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, T-Dap, Polio (or titers/historical records).
• Photo ID, Social Security card, professional license/certification, education transcripts if required.
• Background checks: national and criminal, 10-panel drug screen (within last 90 days), OIG report, SAM report, National Sex Offender registry search, OSHA report, OFAC report.
• Fit test or physical exam.
• Emergency contact information and 3 references.

Candidates submitted by multiple agencies will be rejected.

Additional Requirements

• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccinations is mandatory.
