• TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
• Gynecology (GYN)
• Robotic Surgery (Da Vinci XI)
• General Surgery
• Bariatric
• Dental (Pediatrics only)
• ENT (Pediatrics only)
• Orthopedic Trauma (non-spine)
• Plastics
• Vascular
• Retina
• Podiatry
• Neuro
• Organ Procurement

Medications & Equipment

• Anesthesia administers medications; many meds passed off to sterile field for surgeon administration
• Common Equipment: Saws, Drills, Bovie, ESU, Triad, Neptune, Suction, Smoke Evacuation, Brain Lab, Lasers, Cell Saver, Cryo-eyes, Da Vinci XI, Hannah Table Microscope, D&C machine, Stapling devices

Nurse to Patient Ratio

• 1:1

Additional Notes

• OB/GYN surgical areas are separate from the Main OR
• Occasional conscious sedation or local anesthesia cases

Required Skills

• Cardiac: Cardioversion/Defibrillation (Required)
• Airway: Procedural Sedation (Required)
• OB/GYN/OR: Circulate (Required)
• Line Management/Skills Preferred: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support/Basic Cardiac Life Support)

Staffing Flexibility

• Ability to downstaff travelers with 36/48 hours notice during the 13-week contract based on weekly schedule
