Diagnostic Imaging Contract Position

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Operate imaging equipment and review images for quality and diagnostic usefulness.
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results.
• Communicate summaries of imaging results to physicians or other healthcare professionals.
• Alert physicians to urgent problems identified in imaging.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience required.
• Certifications required:

  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
• Must hold a valid Oklahoma state license.
• Compact license allowed.
• All compliance documentation must be submitted one week prior to start.

Additional Information

• Local candidates (within 50 miles) may be considered at a reduced rate.
• Orientation for Allied and Therapy travelers starts on Tuesdays; Nursing travelers start on Thursdays.
• On-call pay is provided at a fixed hourly rate with a minimum of one hour.
• No increased pay rates for overtime, holidays, or call-back shifts.
• Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are ineligible to return through an agency until 6 months after direct employment ends.
