Job Opportunity: MedSurg / PCU Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Newport, Vermont

Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position for a PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry nurse on the night shift
• Includes every other weekend rotation
• Must be able to work independently and perform charge nurse duties
• Floating to other units may be required based on need
• Critical access hospital with 25 beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Vermont
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of recent experience in MedSurg / Telemetry nursing within the last year
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in charge nurse roles
