Job Opportunity: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Day Shift)

Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide and administer nursing care to patients in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner
• Follow proper nursing procedures in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
• Assess and interpret patient data to identify age-specific patient needs

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Colorado
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse
  • Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
