Registered Sleep Technologist

Location: Detroit, Michigan
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximate)

Job Summary

Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations
Assist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies (PSGs)
Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines (sleep stages, respiratory events, limb movements, etc.)
Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation
Maintain compliance with professional standards of conduct

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of Sleep Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
High school diploma or GED
Strong knowledge of HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines for Sleep Reliability scoring
Ability to accurately score Sleep Reliability according to HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines
