Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The RN uses technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practice, and coordinates care with other healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities
Assess:
Perform comprehensive assessments of physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive and communicative abilities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to gather information.Plan:
Develop individualized care plans using assessment data and critical thinking. Engage patients, families, and healthcare team members in care planning, education, and preparation for ongoing support after the current care episode.Implement:
Direct and coordinate care delivery through delegation and collaboration. Provide care consistent with the plan, professional standards, and licensure requirements. Manage time, supplies, and resources effectively.Evaluate:
Monitor patient responses to interventions, review clinical outcomes, and patient/family satisfaction. Update and revise care plans as needed.Professionalism:
Uphold nursing standards, participate in professional development, comply with legal and ethical standards, maintain accurate documentation, and practice within licensure scope.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
