Job Summary

Monitor patients for food/drug interactions and provide education.
Consult with physicians regarding diet modifications.
Screen and assess patients to determine nutritional needs and provide follow-up care.
Interview patients and/or families to obtain food habits and preferences.
Interpret laboratory, physical, and social data related to nutrition care.
Provide nutrition education and document diet instructions and patient understanding.
Modify patient menus as needed.

Schedule

8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 35 hours per week with a 1-hour break.
Weekends and holidays required, typically 1 or 2 weekends per month.

Required Qualifications

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Experience as an RDN within the last year.
Experience working as a Registered Dietitian.
Experience in an inpatient setting.
