Clinical Lab Technologist
Location
- Rochester, Minnesota
Contract
- 27 weeks
Schedule
- 10-hour night shift, Wednesday through Saturday
- Must be able to accommodate off-shifts, holiday, on-call, and weekend work
Role Overview
- Performs laboratory analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to support diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment
- May perform instrument operation and maintenance, assay troubleshooting, test accuracy review, result interpretation support, specimen collection assistance, and other operational support tasks
- Works with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results
- Must follow strict safety protocols when working with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards
Required Qualifications
- Medical Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Medical Technologist experience
- Ability to produce accurate results under time constraints in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with others
Preferred Experience
- Experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and assay systems
