Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography

Overview

• Contract length: 12 weeks
• Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, every 3rd weekend
• Setting includes hospital and ambulatory mobile unit work
• Interviews conducted via MS Teams

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (R)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and related diagnostic radiology procedures
• Prepare patients and explain examination procedures
• Review clinical data and obtain additional patient history as needed
• Set up equipment, administer IV contrast, and monitor for reactions
• Assist with sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies
• Follow radiation protection and dose-reduction practices
• Complete imaging documentation and study indexing in the radiology information system
• Resolve image exceptions and ensure image delivery in PACS

Work Environment

• May be exposed to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and potentially contagious patients
• May occasionally lift or move equipment or patients over 10 lbs
• Role requires teamwork, flexibility, initiative, and strong customer service skills
