CCU Registered Nurse

Overview

  • Travel assignment in Duluth, Minnesota
  • 10-week contract
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 12-hour nights
  • Start date: 10/26

Required Qualifications

  • Minnesota RN license
  • BLS (AHA/ARC)
  • ACLS (BLS/ARC); must have ACLS in hand at time of submission
  • NIHSS
  • 1 year of minimal acute care experience within critical care

Preferred Qualifications

  • TNCC
  • CCRN
  • Critical Care experience within the past 3 years
  • 1 travel assignment
  • Epic experience
  • Demonstrated contract experience in colder climates for winter start dates

Schedule and Coverage

  • May float between critical care units
  • May float to lower acuity units based on census and need
  • Can be low censused and put on call
  • Call back minimum is 2 hours
  • Works 2 out of 4 weekends
  • Every other holiday

Additional Details

  • Radius rule: contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius
  • Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed the week of orientation
  • Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
  • Scrub color: Royal Blue
