Job Opportunity: X-ray Tech (Travel)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Shift Requirements:

  • 8 to 12-hour day or PM shifts
  • Chance of overnight shifts
• Float Requirements: Surgery, outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), Fluoroscopy
• On Call/Call Back:

  • Possible call shifts as needed with a 30-minute response time
  • Call back minimum of 2 hours
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Variable weekend shifts; holiday call shifts required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • AHA BLS certification required
• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an X-ray Tech
• Charting Experience: EPIC Radiant required
• Education: Graduate of a 2-year accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Skills:

  • Comfortable performing routine X-rays and portable X-rays in a hospital setting
  • Comfortable working in the Operating Room (OR)

Additional Information

• Must comply with a radius rule: must live at least 50 miles outside the hospital
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times per facility policy
• Scrub color provided by department (Teal)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week (except during holidays when the unit is closed)
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; may be put on call during these hours with call back pay if called in
