Schedule

• 12-hour variable shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday
• May be placed on call during low census
• Call back minimum is 2 hours

Assignment length

• 7 weeks

Float expectations

• Float to similar units within skill set
• May float to other locations within a 40-mile radius
• Floating may be pre-scheduled

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
• CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS
• PALS

Preferred experience

• Critical access or rural experience

Unit details

• Typical patient ratio: 1:2
• Occasional pediatric surgical patients may be seen

Additional notes

• EPIC charting experience is not required
• Any scrub color is allowed
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
