Registered Nurse — Psychiatric/Behavioral Health

Green Bay, Wisconsin

Assignment Type

Travel
Inpatient psychiatric adult unit

Schedule

8-hour night shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
May include some 12-hour shifts
Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact license
AHA BLS
CPI certification; may be completed on site if needed, but the online portion must be completed during compliance
1–3+ years of adult psychiatric nursing experience
2–5+ years of specialty experience
Epic charting experience within the past 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

NIHSS certification

Unit Details

Adult psychiatric inpatient unit serving patients ages 18 and older
Includes acute mental health illness and alcohol detox
RN ratio: 1:6 on days/pms and 1:10 on nights

Additional Notes

Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the employer
Orientation is during the week and requires schedule flexibility
Medical compliance must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance, or within 24 hours for a quick start
