Experience & Certifications

• Experience Required:

  • Minimum 18 months Cath Lab experience required
  • 2 years preferred
• First-Timers Accepted: Yes
• Preferred Experience: EP (Electrophysiology) and Vascular experience preferred
• Certifications Required at Time of Submission:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
• Certification Required Prior to Start:

  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Special Requirements & Notes

• Time-sensitive online training modules must be prioritized and completed before starting
• Facility is smoke-free; all travelers must be nicotine-free (negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine required)
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; late requests are unlikely to be approved
• Candidates must be aware that onboarding modules take multiple days and must be completed on a computer using Google Chrome (cannot be completed on a phone)
• Candidates cannot skip training videos during onboarding modules
• Return candidates with less than a 6-month break between assignments may not need to re-orient

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Fingerprinting:

  • Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start
  • Livescan electronic fingerprinting recommended ASAP after contract signing
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 6 months of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
  • Required immunizations or titers: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine within 1 year of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
  • COVID-19 vaccination series or approved medical/religious exemption required
• References:

  • Two professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
• Licensure:

  • Primary source verification of state license within 30 days of start
