Location: Oakland, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

- Shifts: 3 shifts of 12 hours and 2 hours (3x12'2)
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Holidays: 2-3 holidays if they fall on scheduled days
Experience & Certifications
- Required Experience: 4 years in specialty
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- Preferred Certifications:
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Identification: Valid Driver's License or Passport (photo must be clear and in color)
- Background Checks:
- Must be completed within 90 days prior to start
- Includes SSN Trace, 7-year criminal searches (nationwide, county, national), FACIS Level 3, National Sex Offender, OIG Sanction, OFAC, SAM.gov
- Education Verification: Third-party verification of highest education level required; must meet minimum education requirements
- Licenses:
- State License must be current and unencumbered
- NURSYS Verification required within 15 days prior to start
- Health Requirements:
- Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, NP, or APRN confirming good health and ability to perform duties
- Fit mask test within 90 days of start (specific mask types required)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination within 10 years or signed declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray updated annually
- TB questionnaire updated annually
- Proof of immunizations or titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or declination)
- Varicella
- Drug testing: Oral saliva drug screen within 30 days of start (specific analytes required)
- Flu vaccination or declination documentation required annually
- Competencies:
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Color Blind Testing (Ishihara exam or equivalent within 90 days)
- Other facility-specific competencies and orientation modules must be completed by the first day of work
- Additional Requirements:
- Photo for badge (passport style, no filters)
- Employment application and work history verification for the past 3 years
- References as per agency requirements

- No call responsibilities
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
- Completion of all required documentation and certifications is mandatory before start date
- Failure to complete competencies within 14 days of start may result in immediate termination of assignment
