Registered Nurse – ER (Emergency Room)

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Total hours per week: 36
No trauma level one experience required
Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted
Return to office (RTO) for longer than 1 week generally not approved unless under special circumstances

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED), with at least some experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications (must be maintained and renewed if expiring during assignment):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Certification
