Critical Care Float
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Fishers, Indiana
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- Unit-based float assignment across ICU, PCU, MS, and ED as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Critical Care Float (3 years of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Ventilator management
- Experience with Artic Sun
- Experience with Balloon Pump
Preferred
- Strong ICU/PCU experience
- Strong PCU RN candidates
- Experience taking higher patient ratios
Unit / Clinical Details
- Critical care setting
- Common patient populations and conditions include ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, AKI, UTI, and acute shock
- Procedures / support mentioned: ventilator management, Artic Sun, balloon pump, Cath Lab, TR Bands, sheath pulls, EEGs, cardioversion, and stress tests

- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
