Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Saint Louis, Missouri
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• First-timers accepted
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call
• No block schedule accommodation
• Local candidates not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Pending license accepted
• RTO limit: no more than 7 days
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with mechanical ventilation
• Experience with long-term ventilator weaning
• IV insertion skills
• Experience with cardiac monitoring/telemetry
• Experience with tracheostomy care
• Ability to perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws
• Experience with the care and management of invasive lines
• Experience with phlebotomy
• Med Surg experience

• BSN

• Vent management alongside RT
• Trach management
• Port access
• Central lines

Clinical Setting

• Ratios: 1:2–3 for all shifts
• Float scope: within service line, including to MS units
• Unit details include vent management alongside RT, preferred ABG draw, trach management, port access, and central lines
• Short Term Acute Care teaching hospital
• Level Trauma
• 1,266 staffed beds
