Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Long Beach, California
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be accepted at the local rate
• Unit accepts first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU with 2 years of experience
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Experience working with Pediatric patients
• Experience managing Bubble CPAP, Ventilators (HFOV, HFJV, Servo U, Astral Home Ventilators)
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• PICU experience
• NICU experience
• General pediatrics experience

Float / Call

• Float required to General pediatrics and PICU
• Call required every other

Patient Population

• Neonates
• Infants
• Pediatrics
• Adolescents

Notes

• Documentation system: EPIC
• Medication systems: Pyxis, Accudose, Omnicell
