Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Morgantown, West Virginia
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Possible extension: Yes
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7p-7a, weekdays with some weekends
• Typical patient ratio: 1:4, with flex to 1:5 in emergencies
• Holiday RTO should be limited to no more than 2 of the 4 major holidays
• Blocked schedules may be considered for weekend blocks only: Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon
• Scrubs are not provided; required colors are burgundy and/or white

• Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit
• The unit includes patients who may be Progressive Care or Tele patients in a larger facility
• Acuity varies

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1.5 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Must be able to read strips
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• IV insertion skills
• NIHSS
