Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Long Beach, California
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Backfill role
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Weekend work required per department needs
• No floating
• First-time travelers accepted if they have 2.5 years of experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2.5 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
• Experience in a Large Hospital setting
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• 2 professional references
• Unit-specific skills checklist
• Employment application
• Government-issued photo ID
• Emergency contact form

Preferred

• COVID vaccination record, if available

Additional Notes

• Pre-approved time off is at the discretion of the manager and must be included at submission
• N95 fit mask required within 1 year of start and renewed annually
• TB screening, physical exam, Tdap, flu vaccination, and other standard health documentation are required per source requirements
