Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Baltimore, Maryland
- Based in the Laboratory
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: Monday-Friday, 5x8s, 8:30a-5p
- Locals are accepted
- Block schedule is accommodated
Required Qualifications
- Pathologists' Assistant (2 years of experience)
- Pathologists' Assistant experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ASCP
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Breast, GI, GYN, and Pediatric specimen experience
- Cerner experience
Unit / Workload
- Average workload is approximately 250 blocks per day and 30–40 cases per day
- The department has a larger volume of Breast, GI, GYN, and Pediatric specimens
- Voicebrook is used for specimen dictation
- Roche/Ventana Vantage is used for specimen tracking
Additional Notes
- Orientation is approximately 8 hours
