Overview

Travel/contract role in New Haven, Connecticut
13-week assignment
Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
36 hours per week
Short-term acute care, Level I trauma center

Unit Details

Neuro ICU
Average nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2 on days and nights
Floating within scope may be required
Every other weekend required
Block scheduling is not available
Guaranteed hours included
First-time travelers accepted
RTO greater than 7 days requires approval

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Neuro ICU experience
NIHSS
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

On-site charting system: Epic
Parking is available for $125 per month
