Overview

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Contract length: 26 weeks
Float: Required across facilities as needed
Charge: May be required to work Charge RN shifts
Patient population: Primarily medical-surgical; unit is tele-capable

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Experience / Skills

1:6 patient ratio
Rapid Response team use
Blood product administration
Peripheral line care management
Starting IVs
Heparin, insulin, and PCA administration
Nasal cannula use
Isolation precautions

Notes

No 13-week option; must accept 26 weeks if offered
