Critical Care Float

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Fishers, Indiana.
• Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00-7:30.
• Contract length: 9 weeks.
• Floating is required across ICU, PCU, MS, and ED based on departmental needs.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana.
• Critical Care Float experience with 3 years of experience.
• Critical Care Float experience within the last year.
• One completed travel assignment.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• NIHSS.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience with Ventilator management.
• Experience with Artic Sun.
• Experience with Balloon Pump.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong PCU RN experience.
• Experience with ICU/PCU/MS patients who may require higher ratios.

Unit / Clinical Setting

• Critical care float assignment.
• Patient mix includes ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, AKI, UTI, and acute shock.
• Additional unit exposure includes Cath Lab, TR Bands, Sheath Pulls, EEGs, Cardioversion, and Stress Tests.

Facility Details

• Short-term acute care hospital.
• 194, 210, 153, and 174 staffed beds across listed areas.
• Cerner charting.
• Free parking.
