Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Charleston, South Carolina
• Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• May float to like units within scope
• First-timers accepted, but not preferred
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (C)
• SCRQSA
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Siemens equipment operation
• ACLS, with pending accepted if obtained within 2–3 weeks of hire
• Must provide a radiation badge
• South Carolina license verification/primary source verification as applicable
• 2 clinical references
• Complete application/resume
• Skills checklist for applicable unit
• Proof of work eligibility and required identity documents
• Annual background check
• Fit test within 90 days prior to start
• Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption during flu season
• Physical exam
• Competency exam
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable

Preferred

• Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exam experience in both modalities
• Siemens equipment experience
• Epic familiarity
• PACS familiarity

Work Environment

• Teaching hospital
• Magnet and Level 1 Trauma designation
• 865 staffed beds
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: teal blue top, black bottoms
• Parking is paid nights and weekends only, with a one-time $20 parking pass fee

Additional Notes

• On-call is not required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season
