Overview

Travel/contract role in Worcester, Massachusetts.
13 weeks, 36 hours per week.
Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3x12s.
Weekend requirement: every other weekend / every other holiday.
Must be able to start on the posted date; no other start dates are being considered.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience).
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
Telemetry experience.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
Pass/fail testing at orientation: medication exam and telemetry exam.
Accepts first-time travelers.

Preferred

ACLS.

Role Details

ER Surge/Overflow position.
Will be stationed in the ED caring for overflow/surge patients.
Will float to different areas within the ED to care for overflow/surge patients.
Shift start time is 7:00 AM, with flexibility to start four hours earlier or four hours later based on limited critical department need.

Additional Notes

There are 2 pass/fail exams at orientation; each allows one attempt, and failure cancels the contract immediately.
Facility allows 1 of the 3 major upcoming holidays in RTO.
