Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Omaha, Nebraska
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
48 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ECMO ICU (2 years of experience)
ECMO ICU experience within the last year
Cardio Help experience
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
Pediatrics CVICU experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Clinical Responsibilities

Provides bedside ICU nursing care for cardiac, non-cardiac, or NICU patients as needed
Manages patients on ECMO, including both VA ECMO and VV ECMO
Floats to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU

Schedule / Work Conditions

Every 3rd weekend required
Patient ratio: 1:2
Accepts first-time travelers

Drug screen within 12 months prior to start
Flu vaccination or approved exemption, if applicable
2 professional references within 2 years of start
Skills checklist updated annually
Unit competency exam
Medication/pharmacology competency exam
Color blind testing
