Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
NIHSS
Fire Card
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Required Skills

Interpretation of dysrhythmias
IV insulin protocols
Arterial line management
Blood product administration
Central line care/management
PICC line management
Starting IVs
Care of ventilated patient
Interpretation of ABGs
Suctioning

Required Pre-Start Items

RTO must be submitted with the application
No RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
Background check
Education verification
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years or declination
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire
Rubeola immunity or vaccination
Mumps immunity or vaccination
Rubella immunity or vaccination
Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination
Varicella immunity or vaccination
Drug test within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
