Overview

Role Summary
- Prepares and analyzes tissue specimens using transmission and/or scanning electron microscopy to support diagnostic pathology services.
- Performs specialized specimen preparation, operates electron microscopy equipment, captures diagnostic images, and works with pathologists and laboratory staff to support timely patient results.
Required Qualifications
- Histology Technologist experience within the last year.
- Histology Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological field
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- CEMT.
- Experience in a hospital-based pathology laboratory.
- Experience with renal pathology, neuropathology, or diagnostic electron microscopy.

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Valid government-issued photo ID.
- Background check and required screening clearances must be completed before start.
- Employment application must include at least 7 years of work history with city and state for each position.
- Two manager or supervisor references from the last 24 months.
- Skills checklist within 1 year of start.
- Fit mask clearance within 1 year prior to start.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation.
- TB questionnaire.
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years or signed declination.
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination or signed declinations as applicable.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination.
- Drug screen within 3 months prior to start.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Review and sign required facility documents before start.
