Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Home Health (Travel/Contract)

Location: Houston, Texas
Contract Length: 7 weeks


Position Overview

  • Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy)
  • Setting: Home Health
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Average Patients per Day: 4-7 (depending on Start of Care visits)
  • Types of Cases: Start of Care, Follow Ups, All Geriatric
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week (provided no declined visits or call-offs)
  • Weekend Requirement: None
  • Territory Coverage: Approximately 75-mile radius from Huntsville to North Houston
  • Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, at IRS standard rate
  • Locals Accepted: Yes
  • Pending License Accepted: Yes
  • Documentation: Must be completed same day
  • Charting Systems: HCHB and Oasis
  • Dress Code: Scrubs or Business casual
  • Traffic Note: Be comfortable with Houston traffic density

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
  • Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience working with Geriatric patients

  • Flu Vaccination or Declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • COVID Vaccination or Declination required
