Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Helena, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care primarily to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs, including suicidal ideations, ADHD, and spectrum disorders.
- Work in a 24/7, 82-bed children's hospital setting.
- Night shift schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM).
- Every other weekend required.
- Charting performed in Epic electronic health record system.
- Locals accepted at travel rate.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric behavioral health nursing experience within the last year.
- Experience working with pediatric patients.
- Experience with milieu management.
- Behavioral health experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Additional Information
- Facility provides login and instructions for mandatory online training modules (~8-12 hours) before orientation.
- Orientation attendance required even if online modules are incomplete.
