Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Inpatient (Days)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide occupational therapy assistance on the inpatient rehab unit or acute care unit.
• Rehab unit averages 12 patients.
• Opportunities for co-treatment with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) in acute care.
• Day shift schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license in Oklahoma
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, including experience within the last year
• NBCOT certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent travel experience preferred but not required.

Additional Information

• Orientation for Allied and Therapy travelers starts on Tuesdays.
• On-call pay is $2 per hour with a 1-hour minimum.
• Applicants living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate.
• Scrub color required: Red.
