Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Days)

Location: Midland, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Assess the needs of each surgical patient before and during procedures.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and adjust individualized care plans with a focus on patient safety.
• Provide leadership and supervision to the OR team, including coordinating schedule changes and assembling equipment and supplies.
• Assist anesthesia as needed and monitor the sterile field.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, OR team, supervisors, and ancillary departments.
• Participate in staff development through preceptorship, in-services, educational meetings, and seminars.

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Operating Room (OR)
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in the specialty
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) required
• Preferred:

  • Prior travel experience preferred (not required)
  • Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not considered)
