Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health (Temp)

Location: Littleton, New Hampshire (Northern Territory including Lancaster, Groveton, Stratford, Stark, Columbia, Colebrook, Pittsburg, Errol)
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist according to the plan of care.
• Utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities, and activities to help patients achieve the highest level of function possible within the home environment.
• Must have own vehicle and be comfortable driving in winter weather.
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates).

Required Qualifications

• Specialty Experience: 1-2 years current Physical Therapist Assistant experience in Home Health (higher value interpreted as 2 years).
• Additional Experience: Home Health and/or Hospice experience required.
• License: Active Physical Therapist Assistant practice license from the New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professional.
• Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• References: 1 supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment.
• Skills: Physical Therapy Assistant skills checklist current within the past year.
• All licenses and certifications must be current at time of submission.
• Permanent address must be included in submission file.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience highly preferred (not explicitly required).

Additional Information

• Age group experience: Pediatrics to Geriatrics.
• Dress code: Business casual, no open-toe shoes.
• No non-billable orientation hours.
