Job Description

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide and manage patient care within the pharmacy technician discipline.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule typically 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Iowa.
• Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year.
• Certification from NHA or PTCB.
• Experience working with adult patients.
• Sterile compounding experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract preferred.

Additional Information

• Primary patient populations include adult medical/surgical and critical care.
• Call back and holiday pay multipliers apply.
• Floating within the discipline may be required across local campuses.

This position is suitable for pharmacy technicians with hospital and sterile compounding experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment and using EPIC EMR. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
