Physical Therapist (PT) - Temp Position

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical physical therapy care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Work primarily in outpatient clinic 4 days per week and 1 day per week in acute care.
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Opportunity to work 1-2 acute care weekends during the assignment (optional).
• On-call hours on Saturday (7:00 AM - 12:00 PM) and Sunday (7:00 AM - 11:00 AM) may be required.
• Patient focus includes orthopedic, neurological, and safety discharge cases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapist experience (based on work history/resume).
• At least 1 year of previous PT experience required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required; inpatient experience preferred.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
• Physical Therapist license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required.
• Skills checklist specific to Physical Therapist discipline required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract preferred.
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred.

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are not eligible; candidates must have a taxable address more than 60 miles from the facility.
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
• Work schedule includes 36-40 billable hours per week, with overtime after 40 hours.
