Job Opportunity: RN - ICU

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Schedule Notes: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH); July 3 and 4 are required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

License/certification verification with machine-generated date within 30 days of start
Signed forms including:
- Code of Conduct
- Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
- Integrity and Audit Services Form
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- Non-Employee Upload Form (specific to Iowa)
Background checks dated within 30 days of start:
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background (last 7 years)
- Social Security Number verification
- Education verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check including aliases and locations
- Iowa-specific criminal history, sex offender, dependent adult & child abuse registries check
