Job Opportunity: RN CVOR (Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Location: Redding, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• Shift times vary between 06:30 - 15:00 and 10:45 - 19:00
• Monday through Friday
• On-call required 2-3 days per week depending on experience and cases
• Every other weekend on-call

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid California RN license preferred
• Minimum 3 years CVOR experience
• Previous acute care hospital experience
• Experience with DaVinci XI system
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Nursys license verification
• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum 80%)
• Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Skills Checklist (no expiration during assignment)
• Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
• COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster) or completed declination
• MMR vaccination or positive titer
• Annual Fit Test for respirator
• Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted)
• Influenza vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 - Mar 31; declinations not accepted)
• TB test within 1 year of start date
• Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
• Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
• Tdap vaccination as an adult (declinations not accepted)
• Physical/Health Statement annually, stating clearance to work
• National Criminal Background Check within 1 year of start date
• Prime OIG exclusion check
• Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion check
• Prime Agency Attestation form
• Prime Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification)
• DCI/BVP Workplace Violence Prevention training
• Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel including THC saliva test for CA) within 60 days of start
• Prime Resume and two professional references required for submission
• Name Verification Affidavit if there are discrepancies between credentials

Additional Notes

• Some certifications and exams must be completed with a minimum score of 80%
• On-call responsibilities and weekend coverage are part of the role
• Compliance with all vaccination and health screening requirements is mandatory
• Fit testing must be completed prior to start if not available onsite
