Job Opportunity: Echo Technician
Location: Redding, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: Per Diem, 3x12 hour shifts, open availability needed
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Required Credentials and Certifications
- Professional License/Certificate: Must have primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration.
- BLS Certification: American Heart Association or Red Cross certification required.
- COVID-19 Vaccine: 2 vaccines plus booster required or completed declination.
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer showing immunity.
- Fit Test: Annual respirator fit test required prior to start.
- Hepatitis B: Vaccination required; declinations not accepted.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31); declinations not accepted.
- TB Test: Must be within one year of start date.
- Driver’s License/State ID/Passport: Required for onboarding.
- Varicella: Vaccination or titer showing immunity required.
- Tdap: Adult Tdap vaccine documentation required; declinations not accepted.
- Physical/Health Statement: Must be completed annually and state clearance to work.
- Drug Screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC saliva test (per California law), within 60 days of start.
Required Exams and Checks
- Prime Core Competencies Exam: Must score 80% or higher.
- Prime Skills Checklist: Required; does not expire on assignment.
- Prime Specialty Exam: Must score 80% or higher.
- Criminal Background Check: National check within one year of start date.
- Prime OIG and SAM/EPLS Checks: Must be completed and up to date.
- Prime Agency Attestation: Completed after all credentials are uploaded.
Additional Requirements
- Sexual Harassment Prevention Training: Valid for 2 years, required for onboarding.
- Education Verification: Required.
- Resume and References: Resume plus two professional references required for submission.
- Job Description: Signed by employee prior to start.
- Color-blind Test: Annual test required.
- Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: Optional.
- Name Verification Affidavit: Required if there are name discrepancies between credentials.
