Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in Radiology department focusing on CT and X-ray imaging
• Perform ortho portable images, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and CTA studies
• Average 10-15 scans/studies per day
• May float to other locations, but unlikely
• Support nursing staff by training in POC lab (training provided)
• Perform both plain film imaging and CT scans

Schedule & Shifts

• 12-hour shifts:

  • Day shift: 6:45 AM – 6:45 PM
  • Night shift: 6:45 PM – 6:45 AM
• Weekend requirements: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
• Holiday requirements: One summer and one winter holiday off
• Self-scheduling allowed, but manager may adjust to balance schedule
• No call or standby required

Equipment & Systems

• Imaging equipment: Siemens CT scanner, Care Stream portable X-ray (GE at other locations)
• Software: Synapse, Epic (EMR/PACS)
• Department has 1 CT scanner, 1 plain film room, 1 portable unit

Required Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Preferably able to start IVs
• Teamwork skills essential

Orientation & Additional Info

• 2-day department-specific orientation
• Must be in-state for orientation week (even if some modules are remote)
• Radiation badge will be provided by affiliate
• Must submit driver's license
• Scrub color: Gray (scrubs not provided)

Experience Requirements

• Specialty years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum certification and competency in CT modality
• Prior travel experience: Not required
