• Average Cases per Day: 4 (combination of cath and IR cases)

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Patient Types / Common Diagnoses

• STEMI
• NSTEMI
• Pacemakers
• Interventional Radiology patients (combined lab)

Job Duties

• Circulate and monitor cases
• Pre- and post-procedure patient care and calls

Experience Requirements

• Cath Lab experience is a must
• IR experience preferred or willingness to learn

Technology / Equipment

• Epic EMR
• MacLab
• Siemens equipment

Staffing & Scheduling

• RN shifts: 4 shifts per week, 9 hours each (4x9 schedule)
• Weeknight call: Approximately 10 nights per month
• Weekend call: About every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Holiday call: Required, shared among staff (1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday)
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• No floating to other facilities

Orientation

• Unit-specific orientation over a couple of days during the week after general orientation

Additional Notes

• Scrubs (blues) provided
• Cardiologist available in-house during the day and on call overnight
