Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour nights
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per schedule
• Holiday requirement: works into the perm staff holiday schedule

Unit

• 7 West (Stepdown & Floor)
• 32 total beds: 12 Stepdown and 20 Floor

Patient Population

• Typical MedSurg population, including:

  • Chest Pain
  • COPD
  • AMS
  • Pneumonia
  • UTI
  • Abdominal Pain
  • Overflow for most services
  • Hospice, with patients flipped to GIP Hospice on 7 West

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• RN license
• Must be able to read telemetry strips in conjunction with telemetry monitor techs
• COVID vaccine required
• Unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license must be included with submission
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility

Floating

• Can be pulled to any floor or stepdown unit

Additional Notes

• Ratios:

  • 1:3 for Stepdown
  • 1:4-6 for Floor
• Common titratable/set-rate drips are used in Stepdown; Floor only gets PCAs, heparin, etc.
• Royal Blue scrubs
