Overview

• Travel contract in Silverdale, Washington
• 13-week contract
• Day shift, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• 2 full years of CVOR Tech experience
• Active BLS
• WA License
• Pending license needed to submit
• Driver’s license required at time of submittal

Unit Details

• CVOR Tech assignment in Main OR with 7 suites
• 22–45 cases per day across three specialties
• Level 3 trauma
• No neuro
• Inpatient and outpatient cases
• 35–40% add-ons
• Charge nurse on every shift covers both Main and CVOR
• Resource nurse for CVOR
• OR techs have the same experience requirements as techs

Schedule and Call

• Monday through Friday shifts with 8-, 10-, and 12-hour options
• 5–6 call days for techs
• Call starts at 9 PM and ends at 6:30 AM
• Weekend call: 12-hour days and 12-hour nights
• 30-minute call response time
• Holidays covered by rotation
• Weekend coverage is handled by call time

Floating

• CVOR may float to Main
• Main OR nurses may float for vascular cases if they have experience
