Cath Lab Technologist – Wisconsin, Beloit

Position Details

• Contract length: 26 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Call: 1-2 nights per week and every 3-4 weekends
• Orientation: 1-2 days, in-person and on-unit
• Work setting: Scrub, circulate, monitor, assist in ambulatory bay and inpatient bedside procedures
• Procedures: Assist with ICD and pacemaker placement, EP procedures included
• Equipment used: Siemens fluoro, angiojet, balloon pump, Impella, merge hemodynamics
• Floating: No floating; work with permanent staff only
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner experience strongly preferred

Required Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) verification
  • Wisconsin state license
• Specialty experience: Cath Lab Tech with fluoro experience required
• Prior travel experience: Preferred but not mandatory

• Hospital requires physical and drug screen on the first day
• Note: Beloit, WI is challenging for travelers with pets, especially large ones; housing should be checked prior to placement
