Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech
Location: Dothan, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Typically 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (may vary based on patient needs)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures starting at 7:30 AM; must arrive early to receive isotopes, perform floods, and quality control (QC).
- Utilize Cedars Sinai software.
- Work with two DualHead CorCams.
- Conduct Cardiolites, isolated MUGA scans, and Amyloid studies.
- Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
- Administer various nuclear isotopes to scan for and detect pathology.
- Regulate scanning equipment and manage film printing, developing, and organization.
Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Cardiac experience.
