Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech

Location: Dothan, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Typically 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (may vary based on patient needs)
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description

Perform nuclear medicine procedures starting at 7:30 AM; must arrive early to receive isotopes, perform floods, and quality control (QC).
Utilize Cedars Sinai software.
Work with two DualHead CorCams.
Conduct Cardiolites, isolated MUGA scans, and Amyloid studies.
Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Administer various nuclear isotopes to scan for and detect pathology.
Regulate scanning equipment and manage film printing, developing, and organization.

Required Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Cardiac experience.

Additional Information

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
