Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical) - Night Shift

Unit: Pulmonary & Medical Overflow
Unit Details: 22 beds, patient ratio approximately 1:4-5

Job Description

• Provide nursing care for Pulmonary and Medical Overflow patients.
• Work on a medical-surgical unit with a focus on pulmonary patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Completion of Ascension Core Competencies.
• Completion of Ascension EKG Exam.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Onboarding Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at start)

• Completion of nursing contingent worker onboarding and education attestation.
• Completion of skills checklist for specialty within one year of start; updated annually.
• Confirmation of assignment documentation with accurate start and end dates.

• Patient ratio is approximately 1 nurse to 4-5 patients.
